Arrival and Revival!

HELLO!!   Finally we are here in Nyagatare, Rwanda! This will be our second night being hosted by Pastor Caleb. Happy late 4th of July to all you Americans!  I miss you all so mucho. Sorry for taking so long to do a blog (mom) this is the first time we are getting internet.   Debrief was in Uganda with the whole squad and it was great.  I feel like the Lord has been really equipping me for some sort of spiritual warfare.  Needless to say I'm very excited.  Our trip from Uganda to Rwanda was beautiful!  (In a way it has reminded me a lot of Panama)...

Ministry is a Lifestyle.

Within joining up with the World Race, I have learned that ministry is a lifestyle. It’s not just now when I am in Rwanda it is lifelong. It’s every second of every day. We finally made it!

To all you awesome folks reading this post,  Here is an update from Atlanta to Durban… Upon leaving Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in ATL we began the long travel journey spending 17 hours on a plane that got us to Johannesburg, South Africa. One the first plane we got struck by lightning, but Thank God nothing happened except fr some turbulence and a minor freak out. The second one being our last flight was from Ethiopia to Uganda. Some Lady decided to yell and stop the plane and as she ran up to the front the plane stopped during taxi. As she went on we tried to understand what was going on that would  make her stop the plane. Long story short she ended up getting...

Random Thoughts on the Long Ride to Cape Town

Some people can take something big, the whole horizon, and fold it up neat and small and slip it into their front pocket. Sometimes I think I’d like to be that person folding small and neat. Maybe my pockets are too small. I can hardly fit one morning. I think now I need to live in an unfolded world. I want to lay it all out like a map on a wooden table. I want the beautiful mess. On this bus I can see that the world is a beautiful mess. I want to depend on God for everything. I’m yearning for the uncertainty. These kids who are on the World Race never know what’s going to...
