Jumping right into this experience the one word that sticks out to me is unknown. Expect the unexpected.
I arrived in Atlanta not knowing what to expect. Nervous doesn't quite describe my feeling. I was more anxious to start this experience, get my task, and know what needs to be done. I can all ready tell I will have to escape my normal behavior of a "checklist" ministry. We were told to be more than flexible….be fluid. This is exciting and a little nerve racking.
Wesley, my partner, and I will arrive in Durban, South Africa and work with Higher Ground, an organization that ministers to children through camping experiences. God has already been working in me, or at least trying to. All I have to do is let him in and allow him to wreck me. I know this experience will be a game changer and I'm excited to see God's will.
