They keep saying they are blessed to have us here but we are so blessed by them. The church service here is so different than any church service I have attended and so great! They can worship, oh how they can worship. It's not just standing in rows clapping your hands and maybe once and a while a lil sway. It's a whole movement, it's a dance! It's a scream of hallelujah and a response of Amen. It is dancing in the aisles. It is jumping up and down swaying and flinging your arms every which way. They know how to worship. The only instrument is a keyboard. Mama (pastor's wife) says if they had all the instruments America had then they would go mad, it would be crazy. But the fact is, is that they don't need all of the instruments in the world they just need their obedience to God in lifting praise to Him.
I have also been reminded that my days here in Rwanda are limited as well as on Earth, so we really have to make the most of every opportunity. Whether that is stepping out of our comfort zone or loving the people that surround us, we have to make the most out of every moment and give the glory to God!
