A few days in Uganda

Landed in Uganda, Africa! Finally made it! Not our last stop, but getting close! On our way we had two delayed flights. One for an hour the second for 2 hours. One the first plane we got struck by lightning, but Thank God nothing happened except fr some turbulence and a minor freak out. The second one being our last flight was from Ethiopia to Uganda. Some Lady decided to yell and stop the plane and as she ran up to the front the plane stopped during taxi. As she went on we tried to understand what was going on that would  make her stop the plane. Long story short she ended up getting...

Safe Arrival in Rwanda

We just received word from one of the E Squad Leaders confirming the arrival of the World Race Exposure participants headed to Rwanda to join that Squad for the month of July.  They have arrived safely and are with the World Race group.  We are so excited, it's going to be an amazing month! The group of participants going to South Africa should be arriving at their final destination later today, and we will update the blog when that happens and we hear from them.

Africa bound!

I arrived in Atlanta not fully knowing what to expect. It's been my dream to go overseas and serve people in different nations, but I didn't really think about my team and getting to work with others out there on the mission field. Once I got to the airport to meet my team, I was a little nervous, but everyone is so awesome and welcoming, and truly love each other in the way Christians should. We all came from different parts of the country, from different denominations and backgrounds, but we're all connected in one way: through Christ. When it comes down to it, He is truly all...

By Grace Through Faith

I am so excited to see what the Lord is going to be doing in the next few weeks as I explore his mission field in Rwanda, loving on his precious sons and daughters of Africa! First of all, thank you thank you THANK YOU to everyone who is supporting me on this journey. Words cannot describe how much this opportunity means to me, and I can't wait to share it with you as well. Second, I want to share with you some of my thoughts that I've been having while preparing for this trip. I created my own blog website which is called bygracethroughfaith5.blogspot.org. I came...
