So it's day eight on the World Race exposure. Four and  a half of those days were spent traveling. Hopefully, we will be starting ministry tomorrow. I did get to go to the Center and play with  the kids for a couple of hours and had lunch with them a couple of days ago. But so far we have had so much down time.  I know the World Racers need this break becasue they are in month seven, but I am here for one month. One month to pour in and be poured into. So we left on August 1, and basically traveled for 3 days. We went to Hartsfield airport at about 4 pm, and went to our gate. A girl named Christina and I went on a different flight than the rest of our team. Our itinerary flew from Atlanta to Paris, Paris to Nairobi (Kenya), and Nairobi to Entebbe (Uganda). Our flight was a little bit delayed. So when we reached the Paris airport, we were a little bit rushed. And that is not a place to be rushed, because the Paris airport is very confusing. So when we arrived in Paris, we had to travel on shuttles to get to our gate, which is very stupid...

I hate being comfortable. When things start to get too comfortable, I move on. Literally, I pack  up and leave, plan a trip, shave my head bald, erase any "secular" music on my ipod, etc. But this month I can't do any of those things… I came to South Africa in hopes of living amongst those in poverty. In hoped I will have to use a squatty potty. I hoped that there would be no running water and that I would have to use cold second-hand water from a bucket to bathe in. Right now I am sitting in the living room of our host home and “Let It Be” by the Beatles is playing on the radio in Kabuga, Rwanda while I type my blogs and drink tea. Ah Jesus loves me so much.
