TRAVEL DAY! Last night was AMAZING! It was so refreshing to be unified with random people through Christ. We listened to the Spirit through prayer and the Lord truly showed up!  I am so pumped now to go out and be as obedient as possible. I feel already like this could possibly be something that the Lord is calling me to, but we"ll see. Growth is imminent. Change is imminent. I am learning already to be patient in prayer and to be fluid with what is happeing by just giving it to Him in faith. We leave for Frankfurt at 6:15p est, then off to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, then off to...

Be Fluid.

So you've heard, "Be flexible" especially when dealing with anything that has to do with working with other people, but I've never heard "be fluid." *disclosure: being done on a really small device so words might nt make sense or be spelled right. Autocorrect might be the biggest 1st world problem I will have on this trip. Will be going to Kigali, Rwanda working with victory mission on Team Arise. Training: So what they told us to be is fluid, in other words, go with the flow! Flexible things still break and when your fluid you can just fit anywhere. Plans...

Tomorrow I go…

I cannot believe that I leave for my trip tomorrow.  I remember reading through all of the blogs that people have posted on here thinking how amazing it would be to go on a trip like this.  Now here I am writing a blog post of my own.  It is surreal.  I don't even think that it has really set in yet that I am going to Africa.  Usually when you go on a vacation or have something coming up that you are really excited about you picture what it is going to be like in your head.  I can't even do that for this becuase I have no idea what to expect! ...

On my way

This world race exposure has already expanded many fascets of my life and taught me so much and I have not even set foot in Africa. God has been so faithful throughout these last few months and I cannot thank Him enough for His unfailing love, mercy and grace. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me along the way both financially and in prayer. Please continue praying for my team and me. Pray for unity and singleness in mind and thought. Pray for the people of Rwanda and how God is going to impact them in huge ways. Pray for us not to make this trip about us, but about God and...

Ready! Set! Go!

Man, what an amazing and rough week.  Tomorrow (aka today) I head to Atlanta then to Rwanda! I have no idea what to expect and I feel as I overpacked. Everything would be easier if for everything we had a play by play with every detail on what was needed, what was expected to happen, and so on. You know your in God's will when life doesn't work that way because if it did we wouldn't have to trust Him with our plans and future.  So lookig back on this week so many things went wrong, but God worked it out. One awesome thing about this week is i had an opportunity to...
