Jump on in.

I'm not even out of America and God has already shown us a glimps of His great power.  We all met at the airport and then shuttled to the Hotel where we stayed the night and did some preporations for our departures. After dinner and some "get to know each other time" we had some "serious time." In the serious time our leaders, Chris & Holly, talked about listening prayers. I heard this term on a trip with AIM last summer and although I forgot the term God has been working with me a lot on listening to Him over the past year. However, last night was WAY powerful! We have 2 teams here South Africa and Rwanda. We did an exercise where the Rwanda team stood in a circle with their eyes closed and the SA team stood I front of somebody from Rwanda. The people from team Rwanda didn't know who was in front of them but they were asked to listen to God and speak truths into their partner. The. We switched.  Some of the stories were INCREDIBLE. Everyone here was in aw of how great and powerful our heavenly Father is. The truths spoken over people were so good, helpful, freeing, and encouraging its hard to explain in a simple blog post. But know that God is a loving, wonderful, unexplainable God of wonders.
I was asked prior to leaving 'where are you going?' 'what will you be doing?' all important questions, but I never had an answer. I found out yesterday I will be staying in Cape Town and working with Volunteer Mzansi which seeks to love people with sustainable ministries. So I'm not entirely sure what our team will be doing but I know God has BIG plans us.
