So I am not even in Africa yet and I am already so pumped! I got to Georgia today and met up with everyone from my team. There are 2 teams, mine which is going to South Africa and the other which is going to Rwanda; both teams have 12 people in them. Once everyone got to the airport, we made our way to the hotel that we are staying at for the night. Once at the hotel, we picked our roommates for the night and headed up to our room til dinner. I am staying with Jessica, hayley, and Kendra and they are all so great! We spent se time talking and getting to know one another and I am having a fun time getting to know them so far.
After dinner we did some activities that were both overwheimg and exciting for me. We learned how to listen to God's voice and discover in what way it is that God speaks to us each individually, creating an intimate and personal relationship with him.
I found out that I will be staying in Cape Town for the month working with Volunteer Mzansi which seeks to love people with sustainable ministries. Other than that, that is all that I know, the rest is a surprise!
God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, He does not change and He is still speaking to you today. Listen for his voice.
