Be Fluid.

So you've heard, "Be flexible" especially when dealing with anything that has to do with working with other people, but I've never heard "be fluid."

*disclosure: being done on a really small device so words might nt make sense or be spelled right. Autocorrect might be the biggest 1st world problem I will have on this trip.

Will be going to Kigali, Rwanda working with victory mission on Team Arise.

Training:

So what they told us to be is fluid, in other words, go with the flow! Flexible things still break and when your fluid you can just fit anywhere. Plans change and some people will never agree, but we are all one body in Christ but that doesn't mean hat we should all be the same and conform to what everyone else is doing. Be who you are in Christ and not who everyone else is. We are one body, but we are different parts of the body. We can't all be arms and noses now can we. That would just be weird.

Lunch is here and I have so much to blog about before we head on our loooong amazing plane ride to the beautiful continent of Africa. We will be flying into Germany then to Ethiopia, and land in Uganda. Not sure how we will get to Rwanda from there, and not knowing is kinda exciting. Again, Be fluid.

We also learned:

You don't want to poop your pants.
Talking about poop while eating becomes normal.
When things happen that you need to use your fluidability all you need to say is "This is Africa" or TIA.

I also have to remember that not everyone is from Texas and a Baptist church. We also are at different walks in our faith.
Be aware of different cultures. Differences between our group and in the country and city we will be in.

Check yourself before you wreck yourself!
Iron sharpens iron so build each other up!
A good healty community is something worth fighting for and worth Laying down your pride for.

I struggle with taking encouragement as well as given it but I have learned in just one night that God can use me to encourage othe if I just open my mouth and allow Him to use me and speak through me.

Be fluid it's good for you. Reason with scripture:
Romans 5:3-4 we can rejoice too, when we run into problems and trials for we know that they help us develop endurance and endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.
James 1:2-4a  Dear brothers and sisters when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you kw that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow . So let it grow…

I encourage you to read the rest I those verses they are pretty amazing.

Please pray that Christ will shine through me. That I can be bold and speak when I hesitate and when I am scared. Pray that people see me as something different and long for a relationship with Christ and that my relationship grows. That I show love and not religion!

Heading to the airport!!! Lov you guys so much and you praying for me is such a blessing because I know that God answers prayer!
